The Ungku Aziz Centre for Development Studies (UAC) Research Grant was introduced to support academic staff in enhancing research activities in alignment with the designated research niche set by the Dean/Head of Responsibility Centre (PTj).

Based on the total allocation approved by the Management Committee of the Ungku Aziz Royal Professorial Chair (RM10,000 per grant).

For every RM10,000 of allocated funding, the project must produce at least the following deliverables.
Ensuring research integrity and meaningful societal contribution.
Structured reporting ensures transparency and continuity throughout the grant lifecycle.
Physical and financial progress reports must be submitted to the Director of UAC for onward submission to PPGP every 3 months throughout the project period.
The final research report must be submitted to the Director of UAC according to the stipulated deadline, for onward submission to PPGP.
