Award Ceremony for the "Essay Competition 1.0 on Poverty Eradication" on 17th October 2024

The Ungku Aziz Centre for Development Studies (UAC), in collaboration with the Social & Economic Research Initiative (SERI), successfully organized the "Essay Competition 1.0 on Poverty Eradication" in September 2024. This competition was held in conjunction with the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, celebrated annually on 17th October.

The Award Ceremony was graced by the presence of SERI's Chairperson, Ms. Nurul Izzah Dato' Seri Anwar, UAC's Advisor, Dato' Seri Mustapa Mohamed, and UAC's Director, Datin Sri Professor Dr. Suhaiza Hanim Dato' Mohamad Zailani.

UAC extends its highest appreciation and gratitude to all participants who took part in the essay competition, as well as to everyone who contributed their time and effort to make the event a success. We also sincerely apologize for any shortcomings during the event. UAC is committed to improving the organization of future programs and hopes for continuous support from all parties in the times ahead.

Pusat Pengajian Pembangunan Ungku Aziz (UAC), dengan kerjasama Social & Economic Research Initiative (SERI), telah menganjurkan pertandingan "Essay Competition 1.0 on Poverty Eradication" pada bulan September 2024 yang lalu. Pertandingan ini dianjurkan sempena Hari Penghapusan Kemiskinan Sedunia yang akan disambut pada 17 Oktober setiap tahun.

Majlis Penyampaian Hadiah pertandingan tersebut telah dimeriahkan dengan kehadiran Pengerusi SERI, Puan Nurul Izzah Dato' Seri Anwar, Penasihat UAC, Dato' Seri Mustapa Mohamed, serta Pengarah UAC, Datin Sri Profesor Dr. Suhaiza Hanim Dato' Mohamad Zailani.

Pihak UAC merakamkan setinggi-tinggi penghargaan dan terima kasih kepada semua peserta yang telah mengambil bahagian dalam pertandingan esei ini serta kepada semua pihak yang meluangkan masa untuk menjayakan majlis tersebut. Kami juga ingin memohon maaf atas sebarang kekurangan yang berlaku sepanjang majlis berlangsung. UAC akan terus berusaha memperbaiki penganjuran program-program pada masa hadapan dan berharap agar sokongan yang berterusan akan diberikan oleh semua pihak.
